The Cook plans and prepares the noon meal Monday through Friday for the staff. This includes the purchase, inventory and control of food supplies, maintaining sanitation standards, and keeping financial records for the kitchen.

The ideal candidate will be a confident home-cook, will have physical stamina and a servant’s heart for “healthy” menu planning and daily meal preparation for a staff of 25-30 people. The Cook will also be responsible for the weekly reconciliation and maintenance of the kitchen budget, retaining receipts for accurate recordkeeping.

Applicants must be computer literate, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
