“The surviving remnant of the house of Judah will again take root downward and bear fruit upward." Isaiah 37:31
In the Jerusalem Forest is a special area dedicated to the pioneers of the prophetic generation, who were called to Jerusalem by God, to plow the ground and repair damage done in the name of Jesus and Christianity. You will find an avenue, a boulevard in the Jerusalem Forest, with the names on plaques of true lovers of Zion. Many are individuals, and some ministries, such as Christian Friends of Israel. We planted trees in the Jerusalem Forest Grove, and the Municipality of Jerusalem called it the ‘Christian Friends of Israel’ Grove.
The plaque says:
Dedicated to the House of Israel who has Returned to the Land
A scripture from the Bible confirms our belief in
the many promises for Israel which our eyes have seen over the past 30 years. Many trees were planted in the names of loved ones and family members who loved Israel. Those trees have gone on living after others have passed into the Hands of God in Heaven. We believe the Lord Jesus will one day see the names of those who planted the trees in the Land of the Living and bless them as they blessed Israel.
We return to the forest
with many memories but we leave the forest knowing that there will be many today who will want to plant trees, the branches of which are lifted toward Heaven every day. Thanks be to the Keren Keyemet National Forest Fund for helping Christians to be able to “plant a tree” in the very soil our Lord walked upon. Be sure to order your tree today.
This pathway that has been built in memory of those God has chosen to live here, and to teach others who belong to the Lord to love His People, will continue to withstand the storms of life and hopefully remain when He comes.
